At Salem Leadership Foundation We Believe that Salem/Keizer will become the healthiest
community in Oregon, truly a city of Shalom (peace, wholeness). Because of this We Engage
people-of-faith and people-of-goodwill to transform the community neighborhood by
neighborhood.

One of the best examples of how SLF engages with people-of-faith and people-of-goodwill are
the Community Partnership Teams (CPTs). There are 5 CPTs that SLF convenes on a monthly
basis to inspire, inform, and invite people to get involved in the great things that are happening in
their neighborhoods. At each CPT meeting there is a speaker from a local organization, a time for
members to share about upcoming events, and there are occasional funding requests to help make
great events and projects possible.

CPTs have helped to fund events projects such as Salem Seekers which inspires people to explore
their neighborhood park and find beautiful, glass birds, National Night Out block parties, Street
Paintings, and Salem Harvest’s Race to Save the Harvest.

With school being back in session and a new Fall rhythm upon us, CPTs could be a great addition
to your monthly calendar. They are a tangible way to love and serve your neighborhood, as well
as build connections that can lead to great projects! For more information on CPTs you can email
SLF’s CPT Coordinator, Jennifer Palanuk, at jennp@salemlf.org.

Thank you for supporting the work and ministry of Salem Leadership Foundation. Your prayers
and financial support are helping Salem/Keizer become the healthiest community in Oregon, truly
a city of Shalom.

Grace and peace,

Kyle Dickinson
